What a great day it was on the Fisk campus as WFSK returned with its Fisk Food & Jazz Music Festival in June.
Enjoyed by every single one of our 1,600 plus who came out to enjoy the comfortable lawn-chair atmosphere, the outstanding recording artists and the wide variety of food trucks and vendors.

We celebrated WFSK's 50th Anniversary in a community-wide way with inviting "who so ever will" come on over to the return of our annual jazz music festival. On a typical June day, folks found some shade, a cool drink and a WFSK hand-fan and had a blast.
We were treated to outstanding musical performances from smooth jazz veterans like International Recording Artist Bob Baldwin, #1 recording artist Kim Scott, the funky and fun Joey Sommerville, great guitar playing from Les Sabler and Nashville's own Dana Robbins.
"It was some of the best musicians I've heard live in a long time all were excellent, said one attendees." Each of the 5 performers were accompanied by their own bands. The heat didn't stop any of them from playing their very best for us.
